Why Tea?

An occupation should be about doing what one loves and sharing that passion with others. We love tea and all the rich history and tiny details that make tea – and teatime – such a satisfying habit. This website is intended to share that passion with you. At Turner Hill Tea®, we are driven by two simple watchwords: beauty and simplicity. We intend this site to offer both.

This is an invitation to bring the beauty of tea into your life. Whether you are enjoying it in solitude or company, tea adds a grace note to life as you enjoy the taste and aroma. The act of making tea, the art of blending it, and the accoutrements of serving it, all add a touch of elegance to life.

As simple and pleasurable as a cup of tea, we hope that this site will be easy to maneuver, allowing you to discover more about tea and making it easy for you to order.

Being Green

Turner Hill Tea® offers you the highest quality tea. What we don’t have are bells, whistles, or fancy packaging. We want to be good stewards of the beautiful earth God has given us and  to take care of our own small sphere. Whenever possible, our packaging will be recycled and/or recyclable, consumable and repurposed. So please don’t mind if the packaging has someone else’s company name on it.  They can consider it free advertising!  

Knowledge and Commitment

Founder Julia Valovich recently became a Certified Tea Specialist.  But fancy titles aside, most of what she knows has come from her own experience and discovery. That and drinking lots and lots of tea. Her mission is to educate people on the wonders and complexities tea, infusing their lives with one of the simplest and most beautiful pleasures in the world.
